She calls herself Natalie Dylan (not her real name) and she’s a 22 year-old grad student at Nevada State University. In order to pay off her school loans, she is offering her virginity to the highest bidder at Nevada’s Moonlight Bunny Ranch (full story). Well, actually, Natalie told US Magazine, “Through this process I’m not just looking for the highest bidder. I’m looking for someone who is a genuine, overall nice person.”
Yeah, because I’m sure there are a ton of genuine, overall nice people hanging out at strip joints in Nevada bidding to take a girl’s virginity. I don’t know which is worse–the girl who’s willing to give it up for a buck or the guy willing to pay for it.
I suppose I should be enlightened about this and cheer for Natalie because she’s making a “smart business decision” as opposed to just nailing some guy in the backseat of his car. What I’m wondering is how does this separate Natalie from a prostitute…money for sex. Same difference.
Some gifts are priceless, and if Natalie settles for less than God’s ideal, then she’s paying far too high a cost. Silly, foolish girl.
Well, everyone has a god – whether they know it or not. Natalie is following the western society god = money. Another example of why we need to pray constantly. As St. Francis of Asisi said, “Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary, use words.”
