Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop, March 17-20! {Closed}

I thought about writing a St. Patrick’s Day post full of lots of Irish jargon, but that seemed like too much work.  Besides, I already wrote this fantastic post “Being Irish, St. Patrick, and the elusive Shamrock Shake” which you are more than welcome to read.

So, instead Backseat Writer (stop #175) is joining with over 200 bookish bloggers to participate in the Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop hosted by Books Complete Me and I Am a Reader, Not a Writer.  Yes, we all know how I love a good giveaway, and now you have the chance to acquire one of my favorite books, Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis.

Till We Have Faces is a beautiful retelling of the Greek myth of Cupid and Psyche with a twist.  The tale is told from the perspective of Psyche’s older, unattractive sister Orual, who struggles with her own self-image.  The plot is woven together masterfully by Lewis, and is much different from his Narnia series and theological writings.

To enter, fill out this form.  No book title = no entry into the drawing. You are also free to leave a cheery comment below!

Contest ends at 11:59 PM EST on March 20.  The winner will be notified via email and announced via Twitter (Follow me!) on March 21. As long as The Book Depository ships to your house, you are eligible to win this giveaway!

For a full list of participating blogs, please click here.

And if you like giveaways, check out this one from  Brad’s Deals at Sweetney!  You can win a white iPad 2!  I know I’m entering!

  1. I finally found you! When a person follows my blog, I always make it a point to follow back. You started following me awhile back and when I clicked your avatar to look at your profile, it didn’t list your blog so I couldn’t follow. Anyway, I’m now following back! Thank you so much for the giveaway!

  2. I just wanted to say thank you for all the comments and followers and what not! I didn’t make it a mandatory part of this contest because I decided that if people wanted to follow, they would. No coercion necessary!

  3. Thank you so much for hosting/being part of this amazing giveaway/blog hop – your generosity is greatly appreciated. I know I’m slightly late, but Happy St. Patrick’s Day! (A shame abt McD’s discontinuing Shamrock Shakes)
