The guys in Hawk Nelson made a promo video with chief shoe giver Blake Mycoskie for TOMS Shoes, an incredible organization that donates shoes to folks around the world. For every pair of shoes a customer buys, another pair is donated to a child in need. I have my eye on a pretty sweet pair of TOMS Shoes myself, but I can’t decide between the Austen or the Dickens styles (Psst! I wear a size 10, so if you want to hook me up. I’ll, uh, review them). These fine quality shoes aren’t cheap (around $50-$60 a pop), but you were probably going to spend that much on shoes this fall anyway, weren’t you?
It’s not True Confessions Friday, but I do have a bit of a crush on the chief shoe giver, Blake Mycoskie. In my defense, how can you now? He’s a guy who makes shoes AND gives them away to cute needy kids–shoes and cute kids, definitely attractive to the fairer sex.
