The Fire Tree

Without a doubt, fall is my favorite of the four seasons (shh…don’t tell the other three).  Something about the cool air, brightly colored leaves, and a clear blue sky makes me want to take pictures–lots of them.  Today while I was out on a shoot with my friend, Justin (who served as a model…thanks!), we came upon this amazing tree, which I had to photograph.  By setting my ISO on HI and using the SF (Superfine) setting on my camera, I came home to pictures that actually look like the tree is on fire…so cool.  And, ha, I accidentally set my camera’s ISO on HI and didn’t realize it until later…so it was a happy accident.  Here are the pics with NO EDITING whatsoever…

Actually, I put this photo upsidedown, does that count as editing?

A bug I found on the tree; therefore, it is a firebug.
